The Dynamic Weight Distribution (DWD) system enables weight transference between the shoulders and the hips, improving comfort and agility. The DWD system allows the soldier on-the-move to control the load through the Flexi Spine Bar bar while enabling the natural movement and flexibility of the body.  On the move the weight of the load can be shifted  by simply pressing a button from 100% on the shoulders and back to 100% on the hips and any combination in between.

The DWD System utilises a patented telescopic Flexi Spine Bar that acts as your second spine. The Spine bar is extended using a ratchet locking mechanism operated with one hand via the control unit. By extending/shortening the Spine Bar the soldier is able, while on the move, to determine how the load he's carrying is distributed between shoulders and the MOLLE War Belt.

The DWD is inserted into the War Belt and can be connected to either the 90L Bergen Backpack and 40L General User Daysack or with our Full Body Armor System.
