Light Weight Impact and Ballistic Elbow and Knee Inserts are part of SOURCE Duratec Advanced Combat Clothing System (ACCS) and meet and exceed the load distribution, impact and puncture resistance requirements as per BS EN 14404:2004 (as demanded by customers such as the UK MOD). 

ProPads Knee Inserts

The Knee Pad Inserts weigh less than 75gr.  They protect against sharp rocks, impact, cutting objects (including broken glass and barbed wire) and provide ballistic protection. The smart integrated design provides maximum comfort, protection and no restriction in movement.

ProPads Elbow Inserts

The ProPad Elbow Inserts weigh less than 45 gr and are integrated into the UBACS sleeves in a seamless way using the dedicated pockets. The ProPads protect against sharp rocks, impact, cutting objects (including broken glass and barbed wire) and, for the first time in combat uniform - provide ballistic protection. The smart integrated design combined with the ultra-light weigh, provides maximum comfort, protection and no restriction in movement.
